Amazing- changed my life5
This is an awesome book for anyone who finds making time to be with God just another thing to check off on an already over crowded to do list. joanna writes beautifully- and speaks frankly about her struggle to draw near to God in her busyness. Many times I would be shouting- that's me- that is exactly how I feel, and then you realise that if Joanna can cultivate a rich relationship in her hectic day and desire it- then I can too.

Lovely book...5
...Joanna Weaver has hit the spot with this one. A book I can 'find' myself in on nearly every page. As a 45 year old Christian woman of a two year old son my life is busy and I sought this book to see how other people find time for God in the 'busyness' that is life today. This book delivers on all levels. Well written, eminently readable!! Aimed at women from all walks of life and easily applicable to life in the real world.

Just lovely, thank you xx!!!

Holy self help4
Being a woman with the usual overflowing to do list, I thought I would try this, especially as it was from a biblical perspective. Joanna Weaver uses the Biblical episode of Jesus calming down the overworked Martha as a launch pad for ways of revitalising your spiritual life without it becoming anoher item on your to do list. It gives some very encouraging tips on how you can prioritise what is really important in life - it's ok to be busy, but what are you being busy with? Weaver bases her arguements and advice on appropriate Bible quotations as well as anecdotes from Weaver's own life - I could empathise with her description of herself as the exploding Queen of Hearts! Each chapter has points for reflection with exercises to take you deeper if you want to. I read it for myself, but it would be a useful resource for church study groups.
