Customer Reviews

Makes no apology for being hard work - but IT works!4
I have for sometime tried various fitness plans etc. This one though treats the reader with more respect than most, by providing the reader with upto date scientific factual information on fitness and body building. I would like to also point out that this books isn't aimed fully at those huge muscle men, Im a slim guy and would never be like that. Although from using the plans over the past 8 weeks I can see a huge improvement in my tone and body mass. I would also recommend that the reader also includes some decent cardio work out once or twice a week. I would thorough recommend this book to anyone looking to build muscle, look great and feel better about themselves.

The Ultimate Program?4
Not so sure, at least not in the 12 weeks stated!

This book is a good read, very informative, varied, clear and fun. Having said that, it doesn't deal with what to me are the most important facts that need to be considered when one starts working out with weights - essentially what one can truly expect to gain given body type, age, time available for training, initial fitness level, diet, etc. It would have been very useful to see what type of improvements can be obtained depending on the above variables.

Using parts of this book for guidance, I have been training regularly with weights and kept a sensible diet for almost a year now, and it's only in the last 2 months or so that I've noticed some marked improvements.

Excellent for real Guys who drink Beer & eat Chips5
Don't get me wrong this book places you fair & square on the "Fat (g)" scale, but also lets you enjoy the things you like in life, like steak, pizza, beer..... The body-building programs are aimed at the beginner to advanced user, offering a host of Ideas & tips to help get great results. It also offers tips of which body building program you need to succeed at certain sports, like Judo, skiing, swimming etc. A great book for prople who want great results without eating rabbit food all the time.
