Not for the young...5
First thing is I wouldn't recommend buying this for anyone who's under 16 (at least)...

Second the arts by Amanda Conner who's a whole new level of awesome, she did the art in Power Girls first dedicated graphic novel. The story follows 'The Pro' a prostitute/mother turned into a 'superhero' by aliens (as per the norm). She smokes, she swears and pees on people, but The League of Honour take her in and try to show her what it is to be a hero, in return she shows them (especially the Saint) a few new things ;)

Readers of the DC universe will find the members of the League of Honour very familiar and even if your not a reader you'll recognise some faces. I have to say I giggled the whole way through and there's a little extra at the end "The Pro meets The Ho". I would most defiantly recommend buying it :)

A strange little gem5
How many comic heroines use their superpowers to make as much money as possible selling sex? Yup, that'll be none. Ennis's' The Pro has a surprisingly warm heart under all the filthy jokes, and the embittered cynical prostitute-turned-superhero comes across as far more of a hero than her noble, squeaky-clean counterparts. Inbetween offering them, er, services, that is.

It's a very funny, bittersweet tale of loss and redemption (no really, it IS) and while it'll never be a classic, it's genuinely worth a look.

Tighter the costume....5
This is an easy read plot not too difficult art work is crisp and the dialogue is concise and funny.

Parodies of various DC heros, The Lime is my favorite, yes this isnt for for 10 year old kid, but use your own discretion after all its just a comic tale.
