A promising new series I'm looking forward to finishing...
I love this promising new series. Thief of Hearts by Victoria Taylor is an intriguing story starting in Boston slowly making its way to a make-believe island paradise known as Lambert.

In book one of The Lambert Series the author introduces a few of the key characters in the overall story plot. All four books (Thief of Hearts, Forbidden, Friendly Enemies and Le Fin) are centered around one horrible week in the life of lead character Nouri St. Charles Sommers...a beautiful young woman that impulsively jumped into marrieage with a wealthy man she hardly knew only to suddenly realize she married not only a man she knew nothing about...a husband that should have never been...a man with many secrets and a dark past with lots of skeletons...

Upset, lonely, confused, and wanting a divorce Nouri enlists th help of an old friend to help her get out of a marriage that should have never taken place to begin with.

The ending ends in a cliffhanger leaving the reader anxious to continue their next visit to the island paradise known as Lambert.

Plenty of action, suspense, intrigue and a double murder to solve. Also lots of steamy passion.

Riveting Start!
Book one in this new writer's Lambert series was simply riveting! I was captivated from the start of the book and was sad when it suddenly ended. Just ordered the next in the series and look forward to receiving it in the mail!
