Brilliant
This is a brilliant book. As always when buying a book by a new author, I was a bit apprehensive. I needn't have worried. The story line is very well written. The characters come to life and you can feel the love between them. I was enthralled from the very first page through to the last page.
I am looking forward to many more books by this author.
Newcomer
This first time novel by Rooney, is very well written and worth a read to introduce a good solid first novel. With more to come from this promising author.
Too much of nothing
This book was a disappointment to me.
The story is like a bad soap. Characters are boring and predictable and the evil father is just too much.
Sex scenes are bloodless. I struggled to finish this book. Even the picture on the front page is bad and tells the story of trying too hard without too much skill.
