Light hearted, sensuous and at times sizzling
Gerri Hill's back to form
Reese is in sleepy Colorado on a years purgatory after a moments indiscretion with the wrong woman, but makes it clear to one and all, this year is just a blip in her life. When it's done, she's gone. Morgan planned on staying a year but after seven years she's now regarded as a local. To pass the time they strike up a "no strings" bargain. Some guaranteed exchange of heat as the long winter sets in seems just what they need to pass the time. So what if it's the best sex they've ever had? It's still only temporary. They won't mistake sex for more, even if it only gets better-month after month.
Gerri Hill has written a light hearted, sensuous and at times sizzling story against the backdrop of a year in the country. The interaction between the two main characters is fun and sexy. The ease at which the story from friendship to romance is subtle and believable and the prominent roles played by the secondary characters are hilarious. Definately worth a second read.
As good as all the others.
I love all of the gerri hill books and although it took amazon over 4 months to deliever the book it was definatly work the wait. The chemistry between the ttwo charatchers were electric. I had a number of sleepess nights as I could not put this book down! Looking forward to the next.
Hits the mark again......
Yet again Ms Hill suceeds in a feel good factor book, one in which you can completely submerge and escape from the everyday grind. Nicely written 'romantic' scenes, an obvious knowledge of the countryside involved and two good characters. Maybe all of Ms Hills books run the same storyline, but do I care? Not a jot. A decent bit of gay fiction...enjoy.
