An amazing book
No. No. No. No. No. No.
This book was amazing but that is all I can think about right now. No. I don't want what happened in he end to happen. It was the worst thing in the world. Those who haven't read the book will have no clue, those who had....they may be close to knowing what happens. It's a great book, I'll repeat that but THREE of my favourite characters Dimitri, Rose and Lissa EACH lost the most important thing to them in the whole world, they all got screwed over big time. Can it be a mistake, richelle, can the next book be that it was a mistake, please. Just let it be ANYTHING but what happened, I seriously feel like crying. ANYTHING.
Sorry, sorry, I should be reviewing now, basically if you want a flash of the plot WITH SPOILERS *The students are in there final weeks of training and they have to defend the moroi from fake attacks from the teachers, rose kinda messes up on her first try account of seeing Mason- the dead guy as a ghost in front of her- her relationship with Dimitri at first stays the same, we see more of Adrian, Christian and Eddie. Then a bunch of stuff happens concerning Victor Dashkov- I'll let you read up on that yourself but I'll tell you I all but nearly had an heartattack from something that nearly happened at this point and then Rose's-problem-with-seeing-ghosts gets really bad she learns where it comes from (but I really saw that coming). A lot more stuff happens and Dimitri and Rose become closer and at a really heart pounding moment when she almost looses control of herself and succumbs to this dark angry aura surrounding her, he gets her out of it in the most moving and emotive scene that I'd ever read which leads to them sleeping together.* Okay enough spoilers a lot more stuff happens involving a battle with strigoi and at the end of the book Dimitri, Rose and Lissa all lose the thing they most value the most and it is all different things, of course others lost a lot but (Ros, Lis, Dim)they lost the one thing they treasured above all but no more spoilers.
The book was as good as the first two and in some aspects better, the plot was thick and you really felt as if you were there. WELL DONE RICHELLE. Again however I do plead that you change the ending or at least put a twist in the next book that meant what we were told wasn't true after all. There must be someway to change things, I mean OF COURSE it was a great ending, I applaud you but it was a bit too painfall for me to accept. And I'm a very accepting person, honest. I just cant accept that. The book was again GREAT. I still feel like crying. Huh.

Thank you, Richelle Mead! You have given fans of the VAMPIRE ACADEMY series a wonderful third novel. SHADOW KISS is probably the best out of the three. Reading VAMPIRE ACADEMY and FROSTBITE first is a must in order to really understand what is going on in the series.
Rose Hathaway is training to be a Guardian. Once she graduates from St. Vladimir's Academy, she will be assigned to guard her best friend, Lissa, for the rest of her life. Even though everything is going along as planned, she feels waves of jealously and anger. A lot of these feelings come from the fact that she can never have what she truly wants - love.
Dimitri, her mentor and teacher, is set to be her partner after graduation. He and Rose will be the team that guards Lissa on a daily basis. The problem is, Rose and Dimitri are in love. Knowing their love isn't allowed, they make sure to keep their relationship professional - when they can.
Rose has started seeing ghosts and she feels sure they are trying to tell her something. Soon she begins to understand they are telling her that danger is on the way. Danger that will involve everyone at St. Vladimir's. Rose is no stranger to fighting, but this time it is going to be war.
Not everyone survives, and Rose ends up having to make the hardest decision of her life - one that will effect both her and Lissa.
SHADOW KISS left me breathless and in tears. I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out. The way the story ends leads me to believe that the next book will be even better. There are so many possibilities that it makes my head spin.

The best in series yet!!!
Oh My God! I'm sure Richelle has done a mistake because this can't happen. I was crying so badly by the end of this book. Its just so sad, romantic and unexpected!
Rose has changed a lot since Mason died in Frostbite. Also, Victor isn't actually locked up and might have a good chance of coming put of the prison! Rose still can't be with Dimitri, Adrian is there and things are getting quite complicated and to top of everything, she gets stuck in Lissa's head everytime She and Christian make out.
The guardians have to start their ultiamte test but, Rose is having problems...She thinks and is seeing Mason's ghost and, might just be turning mad!
Slowly, when things are looking kind of under control, suddenly everything turns turtle and Rose's world is torn apart. She has to leave everything she holds dear and her hearrt, Lissa and very soul is at stake here!
All I can say about this book is, its one of the best ones I've ever read. this book is such a big shock! if you haven't read Vampire Academy, you should read them for this book only! And I so can't wait for the fourth one!!!!
