The best explanation of the laws behind the Secret yet!
I first read the Secret by Rhonda Byrne in March 2009. I was so blown away by the basic principles contained within that book, I went on Amazon to see what else I could read to understand some of the unexplained principles. I came across a book called "The secret behind the secret- The Law of Attraction" by Esther and Jerry Hicks.

I must admit when I first started to read it I was on a train with a really bad headache and thought Esther and Jerry's story sounded a bit weird especially the bit about Esther getting messages from someone called Abraham who was actually source energy and he was speaking through her nose! If you've not read any of their books, I'm being serious but keep with it! If I hadn't been on a train when I started to read that book, I doubt I would have continued reading as I thought I could be reading some cult like propaganda. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Esther and Jerry Hicks deserve a Nobel Peace Prize or something!!!! They explain things that the Secret doesn't even begin to touch on. I have now read 4 of their books and the Vortex is the best yet. Some of the things they say just make so much sense and explain why things that haven't gone my way have happened.

Oh and if it helps to know, I'm a successful business person with a six figure income and attribute my success to living my life in accordance with many of the principles of this book without even knowing I was doing it! Despite my career success and a fantastic love life, this book solved a big problem for me which relates to my expectation of others such as friends, family, employees and colleagues and linking others behaviour to my own happiness.I'm still trying to unravel some of my beliefs that have formed over years and years of thinking things into being....after all, as Esther says a belief is a thought you keep on thinking (Now how profound is that?!)

Oh and it comes with a CD which is also excellent, especially good for playing in the car I find.

Love is all about self-love, and how to love yourself
"The Vortex" is the book I was waiting for months and months. For those who believe that we are the creators of our own life and understands the law of attraction based as the engine that assembles the components for any situation in life, then this book is food for the soul.

The book is based on relationships, taking us into a journey where we find that the most important relationship is the one we have with ourselves. But most importantly, Abraham gives clear guidance on how to align with who we really are.

I really enjoy ideas that are thought provoking and The Vortex have a myriad of them. The takes on sexuality, marriage vows and others have relieved some uncomfortable feelings that I had on these topics, as I felt resonance with Abraham explanations and started to dissolve false premises that have accompanied me throughout my life. The Vortex go through many of them in detail.

I love this book! I recommend it to every person who believes or want to believe (or is curious about) the Law of Attraction as the engine that creates worlds and that we are the creators of our own reality.

The Vortex
Life changing, but only if you accept the Law of Attraction i.e. Like Attracts Like, which means, you can't be unhappy and attract something to make you happy...
The way you feel most of the time determines what manifests in your reality. So, the book dispels that old belief that if you feel unhappy, you can't attract something to make you feel happy. Therefore, it's explained over and over and in detail, that that thing that would have made you happy becomes an enhancement of your already happy state, and not the be all and end all bringer of the happiness. It will be bad news for most, because they will have to wake from their walking slumber and then actually (dread the thought) take notice of their world, and sift for the good bits that already exist...otherwise, their misery will simply chug along as usual.
It's well worth the effort.
