BLAND BY NAME BUT NOT IN CONTENT!
I ordered this book with some trepidation as it had words such as "Profit, marketing and management" in the synopsis. I had doubts that it would meet the needs of a hobbyist and also that of "my girls"! How wrong I was, a quick flick through the pages answered several common questions that I had been seeking solutions to and a more in-depth read gave me information above and beyond what I expected in relation to poultry housing, electric fencing and incubation. Additional pleasant surprises came in the form of good solid advice on nutrition and the reproductive system. There is a chapter on marketing for those who wish to expand into the profitable area of egg and meat production but this is just a small aspect of a book that will provide the hobbyist with an excellent foundation and understanding of poultry.

No nonsense book
Geared to keeping larger flocks but very informative and easy to read. full of good ideas and advice would recommend it.
