About the Author
Nick Brooks studied Fine Art and Design at Middlesex University. He has experience in all types of mouldmaking and casting, having worked in the British film industry and accepted a range of private and commercial commissions. He is currently teaching mouldmaking, casting and sculpture at central Saint Martins in London. Resident - London

Usefull, clear and a must have!!
If you are someone who has a basic knowledge of casting and mould making this book is a great investment. Nick Brooks has done a brilliant job on this book. He has presented it in a clear and easy to understand style which leaves you feeling as if you have really learned something while reading about both, the origins and the current art, of mould making. The book covers plaster, silicon, vinyln, clay, fibre glass and many more materials. The fantastic photos and step by step process and method guilds can really leave you with abilites that you can apply easy and with confidence (after a little practice of course). It really is a must!
