Product Description

You are fired at from all angles about how important it is save and invest for the future, then you hear about tax-free ISAs and how they are a government backed unmissable tax-free opportunity to invest.

So the next step is to visit your bank or call a financial advisor, isn't it?

Sadly not. In the Isa jungle you'll encounter financial advisors with salesman tactics or some new mis-selling scandal and even your bank manager is out hunting to get the biggest cut of your savings he possibly can for the bank and his own promotion prospects. None of this is compatible with your own investment objectives and the only solution is to empower yourself to make your own investing decisions, which is where this book can help you.

Some of the things you'll learn include :-

How a 10 minute trip to the bank can stop them ripping you off
How financial advisors make their money, and why it's costing you
Why ISAs are not as tax-free as you are repeatedly told
The hidden way to buy £1 worth of assets for 90p or less. Sometimes much less.
How the government and banks collude to devalue your savings
How to invest in property, gold and commodities through ISAs

and much, much more.

Commendable guide to how ISAs work5
This is a commendable attempt to explain the complex issues of ISAs and how to use them to our advantage. It's written by a normal investor, so avoids much of the jargon you find in heavy finance books. After reading this, I shudder to think how much money I've given away over the years to pompous, unknowledgeable and downright misleading financial advisors. I also felt enthused that I actually know at least as much as them, and that there are many avenues to invest more cheaply, on my own initiative.

I particularly liked his advice on investing in gold, silver and other commodities through ISAs, which I never even realised was possible.
