Wonderful coming of age love story that involves self doubt, self loathing but ultimately acceptance of gay teen love

Opposites really do attract!.. reader gains a real vested interest in whether the two main characters can overcome all the odds to be together - teaches us to not merely judge by whats on the outside!

Even though it has stereotypical characters (closet jock, out but shy nerd and a raving queen) provides a good snapshot of what life and having relationships can be like for gay teens at high school

Quite tricky to follow at first since it does not read like a normal story, but is developed over a series of letters and communications between the two main characters - provides depth to the story

Heartwarming story about a young gay man unable to come out in his community, and not being a fan of the stereotypical scene makes it harder to find others like him..however there is hope for us all

Had to buy this after I had read the book, obviously not as detailed but great acting by two hot guys.....brilliant with a great soundtrack too!

Dark but wonderfully real realisation of a young underground boxer of his real sexuality and his escape to the bright lights of the big city, and all that awaits him...
