Editorial Reviews

I'll say it from the outset - this flask is faultless. Quality is impeccable. It is the lightest flask on the test, retained the most heat, has the best stopper, looks good and is easy to use.
Manufacturer's Description
Stainless steel vacuum insulation virtually eliminates temperature change by ceating an airless vacuum space between two stainless steel walls. The result is an insulation layer that performs better than any other. A superior insulated container you can depend on to keep your beverages hotter, colder or fresher for longer.

I love this flask!
I can't drink cold water (yes I know it's weird) it gives me a headache, so whenever I take a water bottle when I go out it goes cold and I can't drink it. I don't know why it didn't occur to me sooner to buy a thermos to keep my water hot when I go out (doh!), but now I have it I'm absolutely thrilled with it. It's very light and doesn't take up too much room in my bag - it's great.
Great small/compact flask - ideal for taking on a hike
I bought this because I wanted a small/light flask that would fit easily into my camera backpack(Lowepro Mini Trekker AW Photo Backpack For Digital SLR & 3-4 Lenses - Black - and it does fit very snugly down one side if you take some of the internal dividers out). Filled the flask with hot water for 3mins (per the instructions) prior to filling with coffe, and then went out for a 10 mile hike with my camera. Stopped for break after about 3 hours and the coffee was just as hot as when I filled it up. Very impressed, especially given it's small size.
The stopper inside has a flip-up pourer which means that you don't have to unscrew the top entirely to pour your drink (and lose more heat). Works very well for "normal" drinks but for things like soup etc. it's probably best to unscrew the top entirely as other reviewers have found.
Capacity is about 5 cups, which is plenty for one, and even enough for a couple of cups for two people.
I'm very glad I bought this - it does the job and doesn't take up too much room (which has always been a problem with conventional glass flasks - they're just bulkier).
Worst thermos I've ever used
I bought this a year or so to use mainly for coffee without milk. I pour almost boiling water in the flask to warm it up, then drain the water immediately before pouring in the coffee. The coffee rarely stays hot after an hour inside the thermos. Very disappointing. I'll have to go back to a proper Thermos.
