Definitely point, shoot, perfect!
It was insane how quickly I received this parcel - no less than 7 days earlier than the earliest approximate delivery date!
For the camera itself, I am very pleased - the 10.2 megapixels is definitely worth £60; it looks snazzy, and after you have taken a picture it is incredibly fast at returning to the standby screen. As someone who takes multiple photos at once, this is handy.
Be aware though, it is a little wider than I expected: surrounded by today's wafer-thin cameras, it's hard to see why a camera must still require AA batteries (therefore making it a little bigger) - but for £60 I am not going to complain! Very happy :)

excellent value for money
I bought this camera for my boyfriend at Xmas and he is thrilled. He especially loves the way he can shake the camera when taking a photo and still get a perfect image on the screen!!! Given him hours of fun!
The quality of the photos are second to none that I have ever owned and the big screen is especially nice.
My boyfriend will not leave home without it. It is simple to use and he was taking photos within minutes of opening the box.
It does eat batteries, as do all Samsung cameras it seems, but lasts longer with the rechargables.
Would recommend this camera to anyone who is looking for a great little camera at the cheaper end of the market.

PERFECT CAMERA FOR MY POCKET
I bought this camera because of its simplicity. I have had it for two weeks. Amazon delivered it sooner than they estimated.

I read previous reviews that this camera comes with AA batteries and you have to pay extra for a charger and AC cord. Perfect! I prefer a pair of AA batteries in my pocket to carrying a charger and cable (and a bag to put them in). This way I can take the camera with me in my pocket anytime, even when I am not sure if I will take a photo. Batteries may be more expensive over time than a charger and cable, but the convenience far outweighs the expenses.

If you prefer cables and chargers, of course you can purchase them. I won't.

All my pictures have been good and the anti-shake feature is good enough for me. I left the focus and flash settings on automatic and they have not disappointed me. The on-screen help is very good and I mastered the camera over a few hours. All buttons and all features work perfectly.

The camera works well with an 8GB SDHC card. I bought a USB SDHC card adaptor for a couple of pounds to connect the card to my laptop. It works; so I don't even need to install the Samsung software to transfer photos and videos to my laptop, or to view them on the laptop.

Therefore, if like me you are not a photographic guru and you love simplicity without losing functionality, this is a good camera to buy.
