Pants - and I don't mean underpants!
Bought one of these when the previous one wore out and needed a new cover asap. Had it for a couple of months and have just ditched it.

Bad points:
* It's so big that it fits over the whole board including the asbestos bit where you rest the iron. Thus if you lay the iron down flat for more than a few seconds, you burn the cover
* The elastic is too loose for our very standard size board meaning that you can pull it off too easily when ironing large objects
* Non slip means it's a pain to iron large objects because they stick to it and have to be lifed and then re-laid on it carefully to prevent wrinkles or you pull the cover off (see above) which slows the whole ironing job down (AAAAARGH)
* The "bright, cheerfuel colour schemes" are universally vile and gaudy! Makes you glad to put what you are ironing over it.
* The surface is wrinkled and so it doesn't always give a smooth finish to fine shirts especially.

Good points:
* No ties & can just be hooked on. That's it really.

Don't buy one of these, go and get an nice Minky metallised one. Spend 2 minutes putting it on nice and tight and iron easily.

JML IRONING BOARD COVER
don't know what the other reviewers we using but the one we got fitted where it touched, was thin in the extreme and was so loosely elasticated it would not stay on the board (which is a standard size ironing board by the way). Very disappointed, absolute rubbish.

Easy to fit, and no strings to pull !
A brilliant ironing board cover in that there are no strings or cords to pull, unlike other ironing board covers, (can be more like a game of tug of war when trying to put a new cover on when trying to get exact fit and strings in place). But no more with this excellent item.

Stays in place when put on, no wrinkling or coming loose, quite thick so a smooth ironing surface is had.

Suitable for ladies and men to put on ironing board, so more excuses men for not doing the ironing. (Put one in your partners xmas stocking(or just left out as a thoughful gift). Who knows the ironing might get tackled !

Only down side is that you don't get to choose the colour or design, but at the price and usability of the product it is not a big issue.
