The very latest innovation in fast boil kettles is a new element which considerably reduces noise when the kettle is boiling. Kenwood have given this feature the name "STEALTH".

A removable scale filter prevents scale and any other particles which might be in the water entering drinks. The 360 degree power base also allows the kettle to be used left or right handed, and contains storage for the cord preventing unwanted trailing cord on the worktop. A concealed and polished element helps to reduce limesacle build up (use of a water filter in hard water areas is also recommended) which will in itself help to prolong the life of the kettle

A water window behind the handle gives clear visibility of how much water is being boiled. The on /off switch is illuminated when the kettle is boiling as an added safety feature.

Pretty pink kettle
This is a beautiful girlie kettle, it is also very efficient and even though it has a wide base will boil as little as one mug of water. It claims to be very quiet, which it is, although I'm not sure why this is thought to be an advantage, surreptitious midnight cups of tea perhaps?
