better than normal lunch box
I bought this product for my daughter who is 7 as she takes mostly packed lunch. She cannot open it that easily but takes help from the teachers every day. There should have been more grip on the lid.
my wife packs the lunch at 8AM and their lunch time is 12noon. After 4 hours the food is warm not hot !! Hence it is better than not taking this flask...Dont expect the food to be hot after 4 hours !! ( hence 3 stars )
The quality is good and comes with 5 years warranty...if it stops working after a year, I would return to the manufacturer.

Great thermos!
This thermos is great. It keeps things warm for hours - if you follow the directions and keep hot water in it first for 3 minutes; then dump the water and put in your warm food.

best one I have tried
My 10 year old is impossible to feed at school lunchtimes as he doesn't like sandwiches. I have bought 2 other types of food flask before and they were useless, becoming cold before he got to eat it. This one is great, I have followed the instructions and carefully and heat it up beforehand and its great. Hot soup, rice, pasta his lunch boxes have been transformed, my daughter is so jealous I have just ordered one for her and having loaned it to a friend to try she has ordered one too.
Its nice and simple too, no cup to pour it into that could be messy at lunch time and the ones I have seen in the shops also have a fragile spoon, this is simply a flask with a wide mouth and a lid, so the kids just eat straight out of the flask. And tomato soup does not leak in the bag either !
