loving it up!
this book is great from start to finish. It gave and un-suga coated insight into the reality of the music industry, from girls dying to be video-hoes who will do anything and everything and i mean evevrything to become famous, to men who will use fear and violence to gain respect! Candy, the protagonist, is first and formost trying to look after her mother who has been prostituting herself for years and is on and off drugs, and her younger sister caramel. Candy forms a girl group with two slightly disorientated friends and together try to get signed by hurricane jackson the owner of the nutorious homoside hitz record label. But soon they realise that fame and fortune is not just dimonds and fabulous clothes, and Candy realises she has sold her soul to the devil incarnated! The girls relationship with each other goes through many trials and tribulations, and you find out the real meaning of decit and betrayal. Candy is forced to face facts and find out what really is up and it isn't pleasant. Candy decides that she needs to get up outta the game and take her younger sister with her, thats easier said than done, with hurrican not affraid to beat the hell out of her on a regular basis, hurling insults at her every five seconds and not being able to give her what she craves and needs, shes trapped. And through all of this she finds herself falling in love with the wrong person, someone who could cost her her life. disappointed
this book was alright but after readin g-spot i was disappointed, its basically the same as g-spot but with a dif surrounding, i dont think i'll buy another of noire's books if there all gonna be basically the same, if u've never read g-spot than this book is good but i recommend u read g-spot instead and save ur money...
