DVD Description
Twenty years ago, David Attenborough started making a series of programmes about the different groups of living organisms that inhabit our planet--birds and mammals, plants and insects, amphibians and reptiles. These landmark series now form David Attenborough’s Life on Land Collection and are brought to you here in the order in which these various groups arrived during the history of life on Earth.

To accompany these series is an index, which can be accessed interactively on each of the discs and is also included in this collection as a hard-backed book. You can use the index to look up a species and find not only on which disc (or discs) it appears, but by clicking on its name, summon it to your screen. You can also use the same method to find examples of particular aspects of natural history, such as mimicry and camouflage, aggression or courtship. David Attenborough’s Life on Land Collection is a 40 hour long panorama of the living world as it exists today. Now it is yours to explore.

Synopsis
Twenty years ago, David Attenborough started making a series of programmes about the different groups of living organisms that inhabit the lands of our planet – birds and mammals, plants and insects, amphibians and reptiles. Life on Land5
This is one of the best things I have bought, and it was worth every penny!

Six series (Life in the Undergrowth, The Private Life of Plants, Life in Cold Blood, The Life of Birds, The Life of Mammals and The First Eden) make up the set. It then comes with a hardback index, packed with everything in the series and how to find it. I was amazed the moment I opened the book at how much David Attenborough had covered! Each disc also comes with an episode selection to watch full episodes from the series, chapter selections (which are used to create the printed hardback index), category selection and an alphabetical encyclopaedia.

This is a very worthwhile buy! It is thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing to watch, especially after a busy day.

Sir David Attenbourough presents with such admirance of nature that it is contagious and you never want it to end!

This DVD Pack is a must own for every nature lover out there.
The image quality is great and the writen index is most helpful.
International buters beware! Only English subtitles.
The box itself is very well designed. It resembles a book and every "page" contains a DVD.
