Soothing warmth - perfect for a stiff neck or shoulder
This is a very good heatpad. Just 2.5 minutes in an 800W microwave (or 15 minutes in a conventional oven) produces about 3-4 hours of soothing warmth - perfect for use as a safe alternative to a hot water bottle or for easing aches and pains. Unlike wheat-based heatpads, this is a dry heat so doesn't leave a damp patch on bedding or clothing. It also has a very slight cherry fragrance although this fades after a few weeks of use and can be replaced by your own preferred aromatherapy oils if you wish.

I have the Cherry Stone Thermal Pillow (Square) which I use as a hot water bottle and my husband uses this longer, rectangular version for neck and shoulder pains.

There is just nothing to fault with this product. It's practical, versatile, safe, natural, environmentally friendly, will mould to fit your body, drape around your neck or shoulder, and will last for years. The cherry stones are contained within a strong cotton cover and the entire pillow can be machine-washed. In addition to using as a heatpack, it can also be used as a cold compress - just pop it into a plastic bag and leave it in the freezer for an hour. You could even use it in a coolbox for picnics to help keep your lunch cool!

Good but not 'staywarm'
This works fine, heats up and helps shoulder and arm, BUT cools off within 30 mins and after 1 hr is useless. My husband has a wheat pillow which holds in heat much better. I know what I'm buying next!
