The Innovative Topsy-Turvy Planter makes it easy to grow tomatoes and vegetables as it eliminates the need for a backyard garden plot, stakes or cages, weeding, soil prep, hole digging, cut worms and in-ground insects! Saves your back and knees too! Simply hang it from a hook on a deck or balcony and you can work standing up! The built in funnel at the top enables you to water and fertilize your crop. You can trim and harvest at chest height! Also great for growing flowers, herbs and various vegetables. Just add your soil and choice of plants. Place the plant in the bottom of the Topsy Turvy, put the soil in the bag and the water in the top and enjoy effortless, fool-proof gardening! Flowers also thrive in TOPSY TURVY and make such an interesting way to grow them! Flowers that are grown in TOPSY will curl upwards seeking the sun, creating gorgeous "upside down umbrella-like sprays" of flowers. Flowers grown this way look stunning and beautifully interesting. Customer Reviews
Fun, but a bit fiddly
I bought this after seeing it advertised while on holiday in the US. It is promoted there as saving effort, as it doesn't require bending over to tend the tomatoes. However, it does take quite a lot of effort to set up in the first place - definitely a two person job, as it gets very heavy with all the soil in, and planting the tomatoes is a very fiddly operation. Now it is installed though it is easy to maintain and has become a talking point. The plants seem to be flourishing, so high hopes of a good crop!
