Customer Reviews

Come on its Fallout why wouldnt you?5
This expansion is excellent in almost every way, both are a wee bit short I completed The Pitt in a rushed 4 hours but it was memorable with new weapons including a harrowing "man opener" weapon which is just sweet. The arena part of The Pitt is nowhere near as epic as the one in Oblivion but unlike that one in The Pitt you can lute your oponents once you kill them all kinds of dead lolz. Operation Anchorage goes a more FPS route its not bad but its not great, certainly there are some hectic bits its Fallout 3's most generic mission but still worth the gamer points. Both ar good but in no way compare to the scope and detail of Oblivions Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansions if you have a mate who has got the original Fallout 3 then be a mate and let them download the extra content to their 360 as once you do this you wont ever need to insert the disc to this pack again as it just runs off the original game so in that regard there will be money saved.

Great, but pricey4
The storyline for Operation Anchorage adds a great twist to the Fallout 3 Wasteland, but in effect, it is only another Quest. Therefore it is pretty short. The Pitt adds a bit more value for money as it is more with the theme of Fallout 3, but again is pretty limited.

If you are looking to add some serious gameplay, go for the Broken Steel add-on.

rip off2
This pack for people that like either psyical media or don't have on-line access, now it's great if you want to extend the lifespan of Fallout 3 for what you get it's a bit pricy, but there are two additional packs missing which are availible on-line already; Broken Steel & Point Lookout & another one's on the way. Unless there's a second pack released later in the year with the remaining add-ons it means you're missing out.
