Review
'A brand new series aimed at small businesses, with another four volumes to come later in the year. These cover different subjects to most series and they look great. Ideas, examples, tips and sources of further information add up to a great little package in each.' The Bookseller (March 2007) 'Breeze through these neat little "Business on a Shoestring" books during your commute. "Boosting Sales", "Cash Management" and Marketing and PR" should cover your bases - and if things go wrong there's the optimistically titled "Surviving a Downturn" to get you back on you feet.' A whole new approach to pricing4
I come from a very traditional corporate background and I must admit that when I first heard Bob Gorton speak on his approach to pricing I struggled to understand the concept. Having read his book and thought about it - and most importantly - tried it, I find it works!! I read a large number of business books and find that all too often theory crumbles in the face of day-to-day commercial reality. How refreshing to find an approach that passes this test, from a writer who has clearly 'been there and done that.' I recommend this easily readable book to you.
