BRIMMING WITH PLANS
Was hopeing this book would be full of plans that i could use to get planning permision, It has a huge number of plans with drawing of front elevation and then a plan of the internal layout with all the measurements of the rooms.
All the plans are copywight protected so you cant just blow them up and submit them, From these though you can draw your own plans using the ones in the book as a guide.
I bought this book and the older version of the same hopeing they would have different plans, they did, and it was well worth buying them, its a bargain me thinks, they haved saved me about £1300 in architechts fees for a few days reading and drawing.
Aparently its possible to buy the full plans "off the shelf" the details are in the book, i have no idea as to the price though.. all the best, dont think about it buy it , you wont be dissapointed. regards mark
First steps to self build
We all need a starting point on the route to self building and this was certainly an ideal way to begin. It contains guidelines on the self building process (the do's and dont's) and lots of detailed plans for all sorts of layouts, names and addresses of suppliers and many other points for reference. Once you've finished reading it, it will only inspire you to go out and build the house you've always wanted.
