Product Description

"Readers of Anticraft" will be introduced to non-traditional craft ideas. Filled with projects such as the Tough Baby sweater, the Yar! Pirate Hat, Dem Bones socks, Apothecary tote and a sleek black duct-tape corset, "AntiCraft" takes an approach much sought after by the growing audience of hot publications like BUST, Ready Made and Craft: transforming traditional crafts into quirky wearable fashion. Featuring a variety of knitting, stitching and beading projects the book instructs, inspires and entertains. It includes quirky sidebars such as "How to tap into your dark side" and "The top five reasons it's good to be an AntiCrafter", plus comic strip art, recipes and more.

Customer Reviews

Love it4
thought this was just going to be patterns lifted from the website, but instead it's all new things to make. Patterns are safer than the website, which can lean towards the sick, and are mostly things I want to make, and adapt to suit. Love the graffiti cross-stitch and am inspired to make the tree of life and death with some variations. Nice to read as well with recipes and facts, and nice to have other things to do than just knit, all in the same book. Can't give it 5 stars until I see how well proofread the patterns are.

Must learn to knit!4
Enjoying this book. Projects are interesting. Side bars are amusing. Can't wait to start turning out some of the projects.
