Average customer review:Product Description
While I was attached to the Malakand Field Force I wrote a series of letters for the London Daily Telegraph. The favourable manner in which these letters were received, encouraged me to attempt a more substantial work. This volume is the result. -Sir Winston S. Churchill

Customer Reviews
The first book from a Nobel of Literature... and rightly so.
Delightful read. Truth stranger then fiction (as usual). Quite exciting military actions described but not exclusively.
If you are a colonial wargamer (but politically correct) you would probably draw the line there... I mean a hundred years lapse... that is my minimum good measure to wargame without regrets... (a lot of nonsense from me... as there are plenty of WWII wargamers around...).
It makes a very interesting read... and of course the powers of description are all there...
One fact I didn't knew it was how good a polo player he was!.
"The River War" is also splendid.
