Instant MCR, just add water!
This is not a complete biography- it's partly a chronological tale of a band that made it very big.
It's great if you have no earlier reference to the band or if you're quite young.
It's an easy read for the already devoted. Bur somehow the simplicity in the writing feels a little diluted, like too week coffee or watered down beer.
It lacks body, in want for a better word.
The bio by Paul Stenning is a far better buy and read!
But then again, if you are say, 14 and just have to own anything by or about MCR, this, of course is a must.
Quite a few pretty pictures and not so much substantial facts about the band who has battled near death, drug-abuse, severe depression and extreme fame.
One day the real story will be told-in the meantime we have to make do with this and Paul Stenning.
