Romance in metal
It all started off with a wristwatch I bought and then the DVDs about the Mother Road and went on to my buying this sign. Firstly then the sign is very well made. It is clear and looks like the photographs of the real thing. I have no problems imagining this on the side of the route. If you want to put it up in a house or in your garden there are three small holes better suited to nails, which would have been used on the original signs, than screws but I had no problems erecting mine. Do remember many of the orignal signs showed the name of the State through which the route was passing rather than the wording on this sign. I always try to point out any downside but on this sign I cannot find one. If you want a Route 66 sign then this is just fine.
