ok but...
these are great if you are only listening to music recorded and mixed over the last few years. Everything from Rihana to Slipknot sounds great - Van Halen and The Who sound terrible. It's something to do with the bass frequencies. there's no space or colour in the old stuff. you're not going to enjoy these if you're over 30. If I could get my money back i would.

Incidentally, they're not that loud on older producitons either, and you'll be reaching for extra treble on the old stuff too, especially if you're listening to it on an ipod.


Oh - they gave up on me last night after a month of not much use. one side has become slightly distorted. I'll maybe edit this again once i see how i get on with their cover - which claims that replacement for breakage under normal use is free for life, and cover if you stamp on them, fall off your skateboard (it's been a while for me), or your girlfriend cuts them up to spite you, etc etc = they'll sell you a pair for 50% of original price. we'll see...

They don't last long!
I was amazed with the sound quality, they are truly a pleasure. I bought mine back in March and now they have totally given up, no sound at all. It is impossible to have the warranty honored in the UK, and after paying £40 to say I was disappointed would be an under statement! To pay such an amount to have them last 4 months, with casual use, and not be able to have the warranty honored I feel ripped off!

Base in Your Face
IM always looking for the next set of earphones as I tend to be a bit rough with them and allways find a Falt (poor mids no base),
So have had a few pair's and these stand out as some of the best Ive had Nice mids and high ends and more base than any pair ive ever had apart for big old over the head ones. A really nice set for the price and skullcandy give a full warranty so here's hoping these may be the last set for a few years and if they are for once im happy about it.
