CD Description
Originally known as the Cha-Cha-Cha, the dance evolved as an offshoot of the mambo and became extremely popular from the mid 1950s onwards. A slower dance than the mambo, the dance consists of three quick steps (triple step or cha cha cha) and two slower steps on the one beat and two beat. This album, part of a series of six classic ballroom dance releases, gives even the beginner a chance to try out their moves!

Customer Reviews

truly truly dreadful1
My heart sang as soon as I played this CD. even when I paid attention, I couldn't find anything cha cha about it. All the Cds in this series ( which sadly I just bought) are a waste of time and money. There is no discernible melody or catchy rhythm. Forget Latino passion, The word ' wallpaper' is too good for this music, cheap toilet paper of the non-descript kind is more like it. The come dancing orchestra who played this music is either utterly talentless, or plain exploitative. The Cd is going straight to the charity shop. It makes me rather angry that something what one gets at airport waiting lounge can pass itself off as dance music.
