Single Player Lacking BUT Multiplayer Has Never Been So Good!
Buzz Quiz World is great on the multiplayer options but the single player options offline are down to just stop the clock again , well that and over the edge which is pretty much the same thing

But the multiplayer is the best its ever been online and off and will satisfy any family looking for some buzz fun!

Fantastic, with perfect vision
I agree with all the 5 star reviews on here. A great game on the PS2, and great now on the PS3, however two problems:

Firstly, they have made no use of the amazing power of the PS3, hardly any video clips, basic graphics (no better than PS").

Secondly, with my 28" CRT TV we can hardley read the questions or answers. Why are they in such small text? Why can they not be made bigger ?

Real disapointment which means that we can hardly play the game, not without re-arranging the front room so the sofa is1 metre away from the TV, even then it's difficult to see.

A tip for anyone suffering with this problem is to ensure that you have the PS3connected to the TV not via a scart, but by the three red, white and yellow cables if you can. This gives a much clearer picture, but still not as good as it could have been

Outstanding ... just outstanding!

We loved Quiz TV but this incarnation is head and shoulders above Quiz TV. The production value of the game is extremely high and the quality of the graphics, presentation and little things like incidental music contribute to making this an awesome game.

High points are the new categories and game types along with the new characters (I'm playing as the webbed lagoon creature nerd) although I'm upset to have lost my buzzer sound ... Eighties! The names being read out by Buzz is a great touch and personalises the game for us.

The online game takes it to a new level. We've just played an eight player online extravaganza (I won BTW) and it was a rich and rewarding game! I actually can't fault the online game as it was great fun, there were no giveaways (like "All that apply" from Quiz TV) and we can all participate in the Sofa vs Sofa game. The online game also has more potential for catching up or losing it all (sometimes in Quiz TV I felt that it was all over if you had a bad first round) which made things a whole lot more interesting. It was also great to have the final countdown in the online game.

Right! Enough wittering on now, got to go as I have an online game of Quiz World starting right now!
