Fast, very clear screen, lots of useful ports/features
I'm not a "techie" about laptops, I needed one for my son to take to uni for his work while there & to communicate via e-mail etc. If it could also be good for storing his important files (music, pictures etc) then thats a bonus. I have to say that I am very, very impressed. Looks great, works straight out of box, has bluetooth, wi-fi, memory card reader port & the dual-core processor is faster than my desktop which is only 12 months old & at the time was the fastest I could get.Superb value compared to well known brands which as far as I know are little different inside.Fully recommended.
Flimsy Keyboard
Been using mine now for 6 months. Only complaint has been the quality of the keyboard - two keys are lose already. I am not heavy handed. Expected better.
Bluetooth not included!
I bought two of these. One for my ancient mother to keep her typing skills up and one for my teenage nephew to do his homework. Both of them love their new laptops.
Despite the claim by another reviewer, this laptop does not have bluetooth. Never mind, a cheap Belkin dongle was recognised instantly in my nephew's machine and worked just fine. Now he can connect to his mobile phone and download music onto it wirelessly.
The only other let downs being that it comes with Vista only and the keyboard is a bit flimsy. These were overcome by buying a seperate USB keyboard and a Vista for dummies book for my mother.
Nevertheless, this is a fine laptop, with an excellent specification for the price.
