Handy item.
As I have the 40GB PS3 edition that only came with 2 USB ports I felt I could do with a a few extra just in case. I always have a USB flash drive plugged into my PS3 for save game backups along with an IR receiver for my keyboard. Having this just makes things a little easier as I don't have to unplug anything if I want to charge my controllers at the same time. Overall its quite good but I know that an external one with its own power supply would be better but I just didn't want the hassle of having another power plug and cables running everywhere. Works fine for what I need.

At last a PS3 with 5 USB Ports
I have got a PlayTV, dual controller charger, IR remote adapter and PS3 Eye plugged in to this. All working in conjunction without power issues and I still have one free USB port for a thumb drive or Sing Star mics as required. Brilliant!

The only draw back is that the USB bar hides the hard drive and Ethernet activity LEDs.
