A major boost to psychological understanding
Here we learn to determine our Ray structure and thus our psychology from observation of our attitudes, tendencies and characteristics.

There are seven energies or Rays issuing from the Godhead which, in Christian terminology, are called the Seven Spirits before the Throne. These energies condition everything, seen and unseen, and are responsible for Man's psychology as well as his physiology at various levels. Man is composed of five bodies. The physical, astral and mental bodies, when synthesised, form a fourth, the integrated personality. The next step for Man is to integrate this fourth body with the fifth, the Soul. This integration can best be achieved when the individual is aware of his Ray structure.

This volume gives a major boost to our understanding of our own natures with chapters on each Ray describing Ray/Body characteristics. At the end of the book is a table summarising these characteristics. The final section of the book shows a method for determining a person's Rays using a question and answer technique.

The main body of the text is not necessarily an easy read with each of the Ray chapters being structured differently. It appears not every body characteristic is covered and one is forced to make cross references to get as complete a picture as possible. Nevertheless it's a valuable work for those wishing to advance their knowledge of the subject and of themselves.

Esoteric Psychology of the Seven Rays
Excellent but only for anyone seriously studying metaphysics. As always, Dr Baker explains in great detail, and with illustrations, but it is pretty advanced stuff. Not for the faint hearted!
