very very basic!
i bought this book as it had been a few years since owning a puppy and its always usefull to refresh things in your head. yes the book is easy to read and has some funny cartoons etc but its all very very basic stuff. you wont learn much about relating to your dog and how to go about chaning your actions etc to get results. and although the book looks quite big id say about half of it is a diary for you to make notes!. i would definately invest in a proper training book rather than this.

Still using this product to train my alaskan malamute puppy who can be a handful.
