Cool Cardz
I bought Cool Cardz for my daughter's birthday who is 6. It proved to be much fun for her and her younger brother. Although it is quite tricky to get the laminate in the right position and it wasn't something that she could do on her own at first.

The laminate and card runs out quite quickly but you can purchase refills. Also you should wear an apron when using this toy as the ink from the stamper does not wash out.

Cool Cardz - Excellent entertainment & great value for money
I bought this for my 6 year old son, as I had already bought the Hannah Montana one for my daughter. He loved it and has spent hours writing the cards and then sealing them in the plastic wallets via the machine. Little stampers with different designs supplied as well. They come out like business cards, which are given as presents or he puts in his wallet.

Great fun! Only downside is that the plastic wallets are quite fiddly to get into the machine. On the upside, it doesn't need batteries. Good, straightforward entertainment!

Amazon was by far the cheapest for this product and with free delivery, you can't go wrong.

Now to buy the refills.....

fun, but not enough cards
My 7 year old daughter loved this laminated card maker and immediately got stuck in. My one problem with it is that there are so few laminating pouches included and that I had to come to Amazon to buy a refill rather too quickly! Wihtout the laminating pouches the toy is a useless.

I don't know about doing it without the roller (as suggested by the previous reviewer). It's part of the process of creation and using a piece of 'machinery' to make something. It does make it more expensive though :-)
