Very good indeed
This is a very competent work and a very useful tool for the potentialbuyer of property in Portugal. I like the way it is structured making iteasy to find what you are looking for. It is difficult to think ofsomething you want to know and is not there. There is an excellent sectionon "Settling In". The "Language" and the "References" sections are quitedetailed with pratical guidance and extra sources of information. It is anexcellent buy.
Slightly out of date
This book is good, although much of the section on charges and taxes are no out of date as a new property tax was introduced in Portugal in 2004. The book refers to this but has no detail, for example different rates are payable if this a permanent residence or a second home.
