Customer Reviews
Pleasantly surprised
I was a bit dubious about buying this product - I was worried that the signal quality/strength wouldn't be very good; that it would be a pain to get set up; and that it would sap all the iPhone's power and leave it with a permanently dead battery - but none of these fears were justified. It took literally a few seconds to get going; it hardly touches the battery power (I can use it for about 2 hours on a little less than quarter of the battery -- and that includes some web browsing, as well); and most of the time you wouldn't know you're not listening to the CD. Sometimes there is some crackle, but much better than normal radio and usually restricted to specific songs. Great not to have to rely on the cigarette lighter, plus no cables so your iPhone becomes like a remote for the car stereo that can be passed around other people in the car.
Complete Rubbish - or is it?
This arrived after a week. I plugged it into my IPod 3G, and it transmitted nothing but silence. Great. I can't tell if I'm doing anything wrong, because it arrived with no documentation, and U-Bop are unavailable by phone. They also haven't replied to my email as yet. Judging by the poor English on the delivery note, it looks like they're overseas somewhere.
No-one knows though. It's all a big mystery. WooooOOooo.
if you can figure it out its great
Just wanted a device to play my itunes music in the car, and didn't want wires... got this and it's so simple it's brilliant. really just plug it in tune the radio to a free channel, match the channel on the unit and off you go. sound quality is perfectly fine ..... stereo ? not sure but very very clear ...
