She was formerly principal of Fairley House School, London, and co-founder of Barrington Stoke Ltd, a publisher specialising in books for reluctant, struggling, and dyslexic readers. She also co-wrote 'Dyslexia: A Multidisciplinary Approach'. She lives in Oxfordshire.

Useful reference
101 ways to get your child to read is a useful reminder of lots of common sense and suggestions school have made to assist my child with reading. There are useful references for further organisations that can help and suggested reading lists, plus what to look for in selecting books.
