The Ultimate Pub Quiz
shirley4647... Same problem here. Have requested an exchange so will see how the new one plays. Not expecting much joy now :(

Would be handy to know if this is just a bug on a few DVD's or if the're all defective. Tried my copy on 2 dvd plays, 2 computers & a laptop. Even made a backup copy and that did the same thing.

Overall it's worth getting even with the usual repeat questions you get get with DVD platform games. Funny how "Thousands" of questions quoted yet how often repeat questions come up.

Extremely Frustrating DVD!
I bought this DVD for a quiz night I was organising over the Christmas Holiday. I checked to see that it worked OK when it arrived - unfortunately the easy section of questions was stuck on one question - namely which James Bond actor appeared in the 1997 film Dantes Peak. The same question was repeated over and over no matter which round you tried it on. I tried the disc on another DVD but it was the same. I was really disappointed because the medium and hard section questions worked OK. I returned the disc to Amazon for a replacement which arrived on the 23rd December - just in time! Brilliant I thought, I'll just check it works OK. Oh no!! it's just the same as the last one, even the same Dantes Peak question. I haven't time to return it now in time for my quiz night so I'll have to go and buy another similar DVD in town, I am not going to risk buying the Ultimate Pub Quiz again. Has any one else who bought this DVD had the same problem? It seems to me to be a manufacturing flaw.

Good Pub Quiz
I liked this game a lot and had no problems playing the easy level. I liked that all the questions are voiced so you don't have to strain your eyes the whole time.
