Psychic World , February 2005
An absolutely fascinating read...A good Story Teller's approach. You will find it difficult to put this book down.

Psychic News February 12 2005
This is one of the most exciting and fact-filled volumes I have ever come across. Superbly chronicled. Breathtakingly readable!

Synopsis
The author's lifetime of experiences with psychic Physical Phenomena, particularly in their spiritualist Home Circle between 1946 and 1958, with his mother, Minnie Harrison, as the medium, where he met and spoke with over 1500 materialised spirit people. A fine, readable, definitive book on Psychic Phenomena. Now revised, with many more photographs, additional material with regard to the Stewart Alexander circle and Spiritual healing and Index.

Daring to believe in the 21st century5
A fantastic piece of work directed at those that dare to open their minds. For over a hundred years paranormal phenomena has been documented in an organised and scientific fashion. Unless we are to disregard the accounts of millions of people who claim to have had extraordinary experiences, including brain surgeons, lawyers and psychiatrists, there is room for books such as this.

There are frauds, but there are people that are able to defy the rules of what contemporary physics understands, this is a fact!

There were those that once laughed at the idea of the Earth revolving the sun, just as there are those that insist we know all there is to know about consciousness and reality.

The book documents phenomena that has been witnessed by investigators and professionals for decades, this is nothing new.

The book is fairly well written, and manages to tackle a subject that is bound to frighten the close minded. After all, if they don't understand something, they usually feel they have to ridicule and destroy it, I apologise for generalising.

This book is by no means a best seller, but it is a well constructed and a fascinating read!

a real gem5
great book, a must have for anyone with a genuine interest in the afterlife. through toms mum minnie the visitations in there little home are truly remarkable, tom himself in his telling of there experiences are told in such away that i for one was left in no doubt to there integrity. my collection of such books is 400+, with this one amongst the best. thankyou tom you have helped me greatly in my search for the knowing, and i am sure many others too.

REAL mediumship as it is - by someone who knows!3
These days when we think of mediumship, we think of what's technically called mental mediumship. This is what occurs when a person hears, or otherwise senses, communication from those who have passed on to spirit and relays that communication to the recipient. If you've seen John Edward or Colin Fry on television, then you've seen mental mediumship in action. But there's more to mediumship than this.

In Life After Death - Living Proof, we get an extremely rare glimpse into the other kind of mediumship - physical mediumship. While all the rage in Victorian England, today it exists only behind closed doors through which outsiders are rarely allowed to pass. Through the book, we are allowed to witness the world of a circle of mediums in their attempts to bring forth physical manifestations of spirits. This is the world of ectoplasm and materialisations.

This book isn't a research piece written in a clinical and cold manner on physical spirit phenomena. On the contrary, it's a loving but objective account of the work of a group of people dedicated to communicating with those on the other side. What the author didn't observe himself is based on diaries and detailed records kept by the participants.

What you'll read will surprise and perhaps even shock you. Some of you will struggle to believe that it actually happened. Of course, that's up to you. And in a way, it doesn't really matter if you believe all of it - you either will or your won't. The value of this book, in my opinion, is that Tom Harrison documents how circles go about sitting for physical phenomena.

For many, this will be as close as they'll ever get to a so-called physical mediumship development circle. And if you have been lucky enough to participate in one, what Living After Death has to tell you might inspire you to continue to do so. Either way, it's a winning proposition.
