Cost-effective underfloor heating solution for New Build, or any kind of structural change to existing concrete sub floors. RFC-17 loose cable heating systems are ideal when there is the opportunity to use a ?cable in screed? approach i.e. heating cables embedded within a concrete floor screed. This system offers design flexibility, low running costs, and can be used for both comfort heating and as the primary source of heat. RFC-17 heating cables are produced with XLPE insulated heating elements and a 100% earth screen ? worldwide approvals & lifetime guarantee (conditions apply). Due to the retained heat factor in the floor and efficient temperature regulation of a ?cable in screed? system, Radiant Floors recommend this medium thermal mass installation as the optimum system for lowest material and running costs. RFC-17 is a durable heavy-duty cable designed to be installed within the concrete screed of your new building construction. Some excellent results are possible when the floor build specification, including insulation, can be decided at the same time the heating system is engineered. This applies particularly to conservatories, apartments, flats, offices, schools, showrooms etc. Energy efficient. Easy to plan and install. Supplied with full installation instructions. Larger areas can be heated by combining two or more cables, wired together in parallel. Please take care to not overload your 13A fused switch spur (our UFHSTAT is also limited to 13A).
