When renovating, thin floor heating solutions are used and the RFC-10 loose heating cable on a reel is perfect for this type of job. Designed to be installed directly below tiles and stone flooring, on-line selection is easy. RFC-10 heating cables are produced with FEP insulated heating elements and a 100% earth screen ? worldwide approvals with lifetime guarantee (conditions apply). Select the cable length to suit your free floor area ? details of area are on-line alongside each product. When calculating the heated floor area leave a gap unheated around the room perimeter of up to 100mm.The heated floor area must be free, avoid heating under kitchen cabinets, WC?s, showers, washbasins and appliances. The RFC-10 is particularly suited to smaller and awkward areas with fixed objects such as showers and WC?s. Simple handling and installation on site in any room shape. Supplied with full installation instructions. Larger areas can be heated by combining two or more cables, wired together in parallel. Please take care to not overload your 13A fused switch spur (our UFHSTAT is also limited to 13A). For a total load exceeding 2750 watts you must switch the control via a contactor.
