Radiant Floors backer boards are high performance, reinforced, insulation boards made of waterproof extruded polystyrene, each side faced with fibreglass mesh embedded into a cement polymer mortar. Ideal for underfloor heating and already primed for immediate installation of heating and tiles. Insulated tile backer boards reduce warm up time and running costs in all cases, but they are especially recommended if you are installing undertile heating on uninsulated concrete floors. 10mm thick board is the optimum for efficiency without raising the floor level by more. Minimum order: 6 boards ? Marmox is sold in packs of 6 boards. Each board measures 1250mm x 600mm6 boards will cover a floor area of 4.5m²
