Very good first impressions, would have been full marks if had a map on each walk.4
Having only been on one of the walks from this book so far - I only got the book yesterday - and having flicked through and read bits and pieces of other walks, this seems on first impressions like a very comprehensive and interesting book for walks in Norfolk.

Every walk is shown on a map of Norfolk so that you can see what walks are in your vicinity. There's also a contents page tabulating the walks along with their associated difficulties and distances.

Each walk also has a summary which provides some information on the landscape, gradient, distance, dog-friendliness, OS grid references + suggested map, and where to park if travelling by car.

My only criticism of the book so far is that not every walk has a map associated with it, although to be fair, I suppose, they do provide maps for nearly all of the walks, and for all of the walks give you the OS grid coordinates.

With each walk also being accompanied by a hoard of information on the surrounding area, this is an absolute bargain!

50 walks in norfolk2
I am a fairly experienced walker and this book is dreadful. We have tried out 6 walks now in this book and every time we ended up making our own walk up.
The directions are very unclear and I don't know if the walks have changed (although I have only just bought it!) but the directions do not correspond to the walk.
The only thing positive thing I would say is that the book gives you a good idea of places to walk, especially as a newcomer to the area.
