F A B U LO U S!!!
Simon Doonan hits a high with this book. exactly as it says, Eccentric Glamous is not the normal glamour one expects. it's slightly twisted and irreverent. which is perfect cause not everyone has it. interviews with Iris Apfel and Tilda Swinton shows how glamorous you can be without looking like you stepped out of OK or heat magazine. goodbye tabloid trash...HELLO a cooloer you!!!

Better overdone than underdone
An easy, witty read and quite inspirational. The theme of style helps it all hang together really well. However, having read this and another Doonan book consecutively, I did find a fair bit of repetition and his anecdotes about his partner, Jonathan Adler, seem to have been squeezed in - more relevant for a magazine interview than for this book, I feel.

Great cute and silly book
this is a great book written by Simon Doonan who has written some great books such as Beautiful people which is even better then this book not to say this isn't a great book because it is, it's just very different. it's just as the title says about creating an insanely more fabulous you and i can say it works if any thing it give you the encouragement to become a more creative dresser and person in general, that's not to say everyone will enjoy it you have to be quite camp and a little eccentric in the first place to really enjoy this book. if you have read any of his other books you know this is well worth picking up or if you just enjoy fashion it's one hell of a great book GET IT NOW!!
