Stockholm guide
If you like lots of glossy pictures then this is for you but if you are looking for some hard information about the city then go elsewhere.

needs updating!
These guides are not intended to be a comprehensive - more of an alternative, secondary guide. I did find some useful hints in the guide and given I like special shops, it was good to have insider tips. None of the places suggested disappointed. However, already this guide book is out of date! One of the shops recommended has moved and the another has closed. So get back there guide compilers and update your work to avoid frustrated visitors.

Glossy rip-off
Stockholm Wallpaper City Guide (Wallpaper City Guides (Phaidon Press))This claims to be a guide book but it is not. There is no information to help you find your way round the city. The book is just pages of adverts for a few select outlets. The shoppi ng section contains 11 adverts for very specialist shops - one for anchovies! In a book of just over a hundred pages there are 16 for your own notes! Useless for a tourist visiting the city and wanting to find their way round or deciding what is worth seeing.
