About the Author
Louise Grime first discovered yoga 29 years ago and she hasn’t looked back. Since then she has travelled frequently to India to study, train and teach in Ashrams, spending time at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune. Her most important teachers have been BKS Iyengar and Shandor Remete. For the last 18 years she has taught in and around London, mainly at triyoga and The Life Centre. She also organizes yoga holidays in Turkey and Sir Lanka. Louise lives in London.

The best alternative to yoga classes I have found5
There are many yoga books and DVDs out there, but in my opinion, this brings together everything you need to do yoga at home.

The lay out of the book is clear, with great photographs and step-by-step instructions, and includes a useful fold-out summary page at the end of each section. The DVD follows the book exactly, but with relaxing music and commentary (which you can switch between or play together) and it even indicates page numbers at the bottom of the screen if you wish to know what part of the book the moves correspond to. It's clear this book and DVD have been really well thought through.

The best feature of this product for me though is the fact that it is split into 15-min sessions (Rise & Shine, Early Evening Energizer, Strengthening and Winding Down), depending on what you want from the session. This makes it so easy to fit yoga into your day and still achieve results. Very glad I bought this!

Good book & DVD4
I like this book and DVD and I would recommend it, but I do have a couple of reservations. The directions on the DVD are clear, but I felt a little hurried. It doesn't give you much time to stay in a posture - often only a couple of breaths. And the timing of the breaths is quite brief - I think if I breathed that quickly in a longer Yoga session I would be hyperventilating!
