Intensely colourful book highlighting sense of touch
I thought this was an excellent book for many reasons. Both my 2 and 4 year old daughters love it. The book focuses on saying good night to different coloured butterflies, all of which you can touch on each page as you say good night. The pages are extremely colourful and the butterflies are sparkly which captures the readers attention. Near the end of the book you can see all the butterflies sleeping before they wake for another day of play! Good book for learning and appreciating colours. Excellent quality illustrations and sturdy book.

Perfect from Newborn!
I bought this as a present for a friend's newborn baby after I had seen it at my daughter's nursery. The pages are simple and clear; each page is a different colour, and the colours are really bright and beautful. I think this book is perfect for newborns upward as it is visually stimulating and interesting to look at, and then as children get older and are able to count, I think they would still find it fun as they can count the missing butterflies. I would definitely recommend this book to keep or as a little gift. Only thing to be aware of - there is another copy of this book which is bigger, so make sure you are buying the right one - I was expecting the other one and this is quite small. (That's not a criticism of the book, as I actually think this is a better size for tiny hands - it's just that it wasn't what I was expecting!)
