And, for the first time, they will be truly alone together - with all her fears and emotional doubts. What a cheat1
I LOVE the Anita Blake series, but I am beginning to see a trend. Authors are cheating because they are not writing fast enough. They are re-releasing old books together with other snippets and call it new. I mean it makes great revenue sense, but my gosh what a betrayal to her fans.

I already read Micah and when I read this one I was boiling mad - Micah was great reading but old news (because I already got the original), the other unwritten Anita Blake story is also old news in that it was referred to throughout the series so you already know what it was about. It's not really a story per se but a snippet of a moment in an event. Very disappointing. The rest, well they are one pagers of .... something. A story to me has to have a beginning, a middle and an end. These other short stories, well they have a flash but no beginning, middle or end.

Hence my term .... what a cheat, a cob out, a sell out.

Having said that, if you haven't read Micah or have the original book, then this is as good a buy as any.

Ms Hamilton, can you not join the other authors and do re-releases of old books in this way please? And if you are please clearly state. Calling it new stuff was just so misleading!! I had my hope totally dashed as I thought you had written another Anita story.

Well here's waiting .... waiting .... waiting .... waiting for the next one in the series after Harlequin

Originally released as separate titles4
So if you read Micah the first time around when it was published in the USA this is the UK release with a combined with another title. Strange Candy, the other book in this title, is a collection of short stories which also was previously published separately.

Micah and strange candy2
BUYER BEWARE.!!!!

Well I suppose I should start by saying that I Am a Avid fan of the Anita Blake books as a whole, and in fairness I should have taken the time to check if there were any written reviews....Having said that... I was Truly Disappointed.

This Is Not A New Book, the Main Story is an Edited version of Micah.

so if you have not read it yet Buy it on its own. I think Amazon and the Publisher should start marking books as Republished or New...Clearly.

After all they make enough money from us without resorting to this form

of cheating.
